Position Overview

For the Regional Sales Manager position, we are looking for ambitious professionals with a proven track record of sales success. This position will require regular traveling to (potential) customers within the assigned territory. An initial technical training session of two weeks will be provided at our U.S. Headquarters in Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining and building upon sales in designated territory or to assigned vertical markets
  • Generate business with new customers and keeps existing clients informed of new products
  • Meet and exceed sales goals by winning new job orders through prospecting and developing new customer relationships
  • Travel within the assigned territory to make sales calls and conduct product training
  • Maintain an ongoing relationship with prospective clients, both in-person and by phone/email
  • Read and generate reports and conducts market analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus, but not required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience with engineered products
  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Engineering background is a plus, but not required
  • Strong motivational and communication skills
  • Prior experience with mechanical or electrical contractors, distributors, and engineers/specifiers preferred
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
